The Love Surrounds You® Movement exists to bring mental health awareness, prevent loss, and provide direct help to individuals and families who need support. Founded in memory of Kristen Mia Tenpenny, our mission is simple…

To remind people they are seen… they are loved… and their life matters.

We don’t just talk about mental health… we take action.
Across the country, we host Ride Out of the Darkness® events, awareness rallies, community fundraisers, healing retreats, and outreach initiatives designed to bring people together and connect them to real help.

Through scholarships, vetted resources, and nationwide community partnerships, we are committed to breaking stigma and expanding access to support.

WHAT WE DO

✅ Ride Out of the Darkness® | National Awareness Rides & Rally Events
Our flagship fundraiser, Ride Out of the Darkness®, is a nationwide series of awareness rides open to all vehicles… motorcycles, cars, trucks, and more.
Each ride ends with a rally built around connection, community healing, laughter, love, and hope.

We also provide scholarships to help individuals participate in the National Travel Train Ride for Ride Out of the Darkness®, ensuring financial barriers don’t stop someone from being part of something that could change their life.

✅ Scholarships for Mental Health Support
We raise funds to provide scholarships for individuals seeking therapy, coaching, treatment programs, or holistic healing services.
Our goal is to remove financial barriers so people can access support when they need it most.

✅ Vetted Resources & Support Network
We connect individuals with trusted mental health professionals, community support services, and holistic practitioners.
Many people struggle to find safe, effective help… we make it easier to find the right support with confidence.

✅ Veteran & First Responder Outreach
We are deeply committed to supporting veterans, active-duty military, and first responders who often carry invisible burdens from service-related stress and trauma.
Through Ride Out of the Darkness®, scholarships, and outreach, we create safe spaces for connection, support, and healing.

✅ Education & Advocacy
We share educational content, workshops, and speaking engagements to increase awareness, encourage early support, and empower families with practical tools.
