These roles ensure the Ride Out of the Darkness® event operates safely, smoothly, and in close coordination with law enforcement and escort teams. Route & Safety leaders manage vehicle flow, communication, staging, and emergency readiness from start to finish. All Route & Safety roles are 12-month commitments designed to support steady monthly planning and confident execution on event day. Time commitment varies by role.
