ENTERTAINMENT SUPPORT ROLES
These roles are responsible for building the entertainment experience at the Ride Out of the Darkness® event. This includes sourcing and coordinating the stage, sound, live entertainment, and vehicle shows that create energy, engagement, and community connection. All roles in this category are long-term planning positions (10–12 months) that involve outreach, coordination, promotion, and event-day execution.

Entertainment & Stage Support Role — 10–12 Month AssignmentROLE PURPOSE
Sources, coordinates, and oversees the stage setup for entertainment and announcements, ensuring the stage is delivered, installed, safe, functional, and ready for use throughout the event.SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Identifies and secures a stage suitable for event size and programming
• Coordinates stage delivery, setup, and teardown logistics
• Confirms stage safety, stability, and usability upon delivery
• Works with Sound System Coordinator to ensure compatibility
• Coordinates placement with Operations and Safety teams
• Serves as point of contact for stage vendor
• Ensures stage readiness on event dayTIME COMMITMENT

Recruits bands, live performers, speakers, and special guests to create a compelling entertainment lineup, including outreach to well-known or influential figures who support mental health awareness.SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Recruits bands, DJs, speakers, and live entertainment
• Coordinates performance availability and interest
• Works with leadership on outreach to well-known or influential supporters
• Tracks commitments and performance details
